The mission of Madison County Schools Child Nutrition Services is to operate a financially sound, employee and customer oriented program, that provides nutritious meals to customers, giving them a variety of choices, and serving them in a clean and cheerful atmosphere so that they will learn to make healthy choices for a lifetime, and that offers employees a career with the opportunity for training and growth. 

Child Nutrition Services will be working to implement North Carolina's School Meals Initiative in Madison County Schools during the 2006-2007 school year.  North Carolina's Eat Less--Move More campaign to curb obseity will be one of the goals we will be working on this school year.
